About Zync

A Zoho connector for Shopify built by people who run both stacks.

Zync is a real-time Zoho connector for stores that have outgrown manual reconciliation. Orders, products, and customers flow from Shopify into Zoho. Inventory syncs both ways across warehouses. Queue-based, retry-safe, with no Zoho-side module to install.

What it syncs
  • Orders — Shopify orders to Zoho sales orders or invoices, configurable per store.
  • Inventory — two-way stock sync across Zoho warehouses and Shopify locations.
  • Products — items and item groups with SKU, barcode, weight, images, and metafields.
  • Customers — Shopify customers to Zoho contacts, de-duplicated by email.
Who Zync is for
  • Shopify stores running accounting or inventory in Zoho Books or Zoho Inventory.
  • DTC and growing brands that need a Shopify ERP connector without a custom build.
  • Operations and finance teams tired of reconciling stock and retyping orders.
  • Multi-location merchants that need per-warehouse accuracy.
How it works
  • Connect your Zoho org with OAuth in the Shopify admin — no Zoho-side module.
  • Map Shopify locations to Zoho warehouses and choose your sync rules.
  • Zync registers webhooks and runs a queue-based, retry-safe sync.
  • Linked metafields keep records matched so repeat syncs never duplicate.
Buyer evidence

Evaluate the connector by the cases that break after install

The buying decision should not stop at "orders and inventory sync." A serious Shopify Zoho connector has to survive the accounting, warehouse, tax, and retry cases that show up once real orders are moving.

What to test before choosing any connector

These are the workflows that should decide the trial — not vendor claims.

Order sync edge cases

Paid, unpaid, discounted, refunded, and tax-bearing orders should all land in the Zoho record shape finance selected.

Warehouse stock routing

Every Shopify location needs an explicit Zoho warehouse, with failed product links visible before launch.

Accounting close behavior

Tax mapping, refunds, shipping, payments, and Shopify references need to reconcile before month-end close.

No-module Zoho fit

The connector should work on every Zoho data center via OAuth — no code, manifests, or add-ons inside Zoho.

Duplicate safety

Repeat syncs must update existing Zoho items and contacts by metafield and email, not create second copies.

Free and DIY comparison

The real cost is reconciliation hours, retry safety, and whether two-way inventory and tax are included.

What it does

Everything stays in sync, automatically

One connector for products, orders, customers, and inventory across Shopify and Zoho Books or Zoho Inventory.

Two-way sync

Products and inventory flow Shopify → Zoho, Zoho → Shopify, or both. You choose the source of truth per data type.

Orders into Zoho

Shopify orders become Zoho sales orders or invoices with the right customer, line items, tax, shipping, and discounts.

Multi-warehouse inventory

Map each Shopify location to a Zoho warehouse and keep stock accurate across every location in real time.

Customer contacts

New Shopify customers sync to Zoho contacts and are de-duplicated by email so you never create the same person twice.

Real-time webhooks

Changes are picked up by Shopify webhooks and queued instantly — no nightly batch, no stale data.

Retry-safe queues

Every sync is a queued job with exponential backoff. Rate limits become retries, not dropped records.

Implementation path

From install to live sync

01

Connect Zoho

Verify your Zoho client, organization, API domain, and module — Books, Inventory, or both — via OAuth in the Shopify admin.

02

Map operations

Choose locations, warehouses, product rules, order rules, and customer behavior. No Zoho-side module to install.

03

Run queued sync

Move product, order, customer, and inventory work through retry-safe queues instead of fragile inline actions.

04

Monitor records

Use linked metafields and a per-record sync log to see what synced and what needs attention.

Teams stop reconciling and start growing

We stopped retyping orders into Zoho Books entirely. Everything lands as a sales order with the right customer, tax, and line items.

Priya N.Operations Lead, home & living brand

Inventory used to drift between Shopify and Zoho Inventory every week. Now stock matches across both warehouses without anyone touching it.

Daniel R.Founder, multi-location retailer

Setup was an afternoon, not a project. We mapped locations, connected via OAuth, and bulk-synced the back catalog the same day.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Which Zoho products does Zync support?
Zync connects Shopify with both Zoho Books and Zoho Inventory. You choose your module on the Connection page, and the app uses the correct Zoho API for your edition. All Zoho data centers are supported (US, EU, India, Australia, Japan).
Is the sync two-way?
Yes. Products and inventory can sync Shopify → Zoho, Zoho → Shopify, or both. Orders and customers flow from Shopify into Zoho as contacts, sales orders, or invoices. You pick the source of truth per data type.
Does it sync in real time?
Yes. Zync registers Shopify webhooks so new products, orders, customers, and inventory changes are queued and synced within moments. You can also run scheduled syncs or one-click bulk syncs for existing data.
How are duplicates avoided?
Zync stores the Zoho record ID on each Shopify product, customer, and order as a metafield, and can auto-match existing Zoho items by SKU, barcode, or name. Contacts are de-duplicated by email so the same customer is never created twice.
Do multiple warehouses work?
Yes. Map each Shopify location to a Zoho warehouse on the Connection page. Zync can even create matching Zoho warehouses for your Shopify locations automatically when multi-warehouse is enabled in Zoho Inventory.
What happens when a sync fails?
Every sync runs as a queued, retry-safe job with exponential backoff. Failures are logged with the exact reason, and you can retry any record manually. Shopify rate limits become retryable jobs rather than dropped records.
